Digital Project Manager
 
We are looking for a Full-Time Digital Project Manager to take responsibility for project governance for 6 months, working with the sponsor on key deliverables. Experienced in Agile Project Management methods, the successful candidate will produce detailed project business plans that can be understood by both stakeholders and developers.
The successful candidate will:
·Manage digital projects within the authority frameworks, from initial development to delivery
·Provide digital support for high-risk, complex programmes
·Identify and record measurable's in an accessible way for stakeholders, and keep the project on track to achieve objectives
·Communicate with stakeholders, producing and presenting reports to keep them informed of progress
·Oversee total delivery of the project, identifying and resolving risks or malfunction issues where necessary
·Ensure all digital projects are accessible and comply with W3C AA guidelines
·Proactively contribute to the design and delivery of project management training and best practice methods
The successful Digital Project Manager will have:
·An excellent understanding and demonstrable working knowledge of web technologies
·Experience managing digital projects, including SEO, responsive design and open/closed source software
·A strong understanding of, and confidence in preparing clear, concise reports that incorporate Google Analytics metrics
·Agile, Waterfall or similar project management methodology experience
·A solid track record of consistently delivery successful digital projects, ideally within a public sector environment
·The skill to write functional and technical specifications, creating information architecture and wireframes
·Familiarity with CMS software and the in-depth understanding of assessing suitability of potentials for a digital project
·Confidence and experience in influencing stakeholder decisions, including presenting and explaining practices to senior management
·Understanding of web best practice and the skills to create web-friendly digital content
·A degree or equivalent qualification that demonstrates critical and analytical thinking
·Formal project management and/or relevant digital qualifications
·A passion for all things digital with a keen interest in digital marketplace trends
