Who would you be working for?
Our client is one of Britain's leading provider for e-scooter and e-bike rental schemes and are in need of Fleet Manager for their Gloucester operation, initially on a 6 month contract. They are an organisation with a passion around the need for sustainable, convenient and affordable travel that also allows for social distancing.
What you will be doing?
Working with your colleagues from Head Office within Operations and Marketing and your local colleagues and reporting team, you will be responsible for supply, monitoring and developing the effectiveness of all fleet operations within the Gloucestershire region which will include:
·Management of the fleet within the company financial and operational objectives
·Development and enhancing the brand and ensuring the delivery of excellent customer service
·Working strategically, analysing appropriate data and information to develop and formulate additional revenue growth strategies
·Motivating, supporting and developing your team
To be successful in this post you will:
·have at least several years experience and proven knowledge of fleet management or project management within a fast paced logistics environment
·have good communication skills both oral and written and have the ability to analyse and develop strategies
·Have great relationship building skills both internally and externally and experience of managing and motivating teams of people
·Be proficient in Excel, Google Docs and ideally fleet management and vehicle tracking software
·Be enthusiastic, flexible and adaptable
·Ideally have a keen interest in cycling or e-scooters, as would an interest in e-mobility and delivering impactful change in the way people travel
What do you get in return?
·A salary of £26,000 to £29,000 per annum dependent on experience
·25 days holiday plus bank holidays
This role is offered on an initial 6 month fixed term contract but is likely to lead to a permanent role as the e-bike/scooters popularity continues to grow, the contract for their renewal in the area will too!
