We are currently assisting with the recruitment of a Business Development Director within the L&D space. This is an amazing opportunity to join a progressive company who are a "top end" provider of solutions focussed on client engagement, leadership and training.
They are looking for someone who is highly driven and who wants to work in an incredibly fast paced environment, to work in a customer facing role with clients where the key accountability is to drive new business and acquisitions.
As a senior member of the management team you will be working with major corporates, managing prestigious clients and developing new business across a broad range of global companies.
The main duties of the role are:
·To both manage current clients and develop new business
·Take the lead on all business development projects
·Deliver the brand promise to all clients
·Manage and motivate your team
·Work closely with management to make accurate resource decisions
·Working to precise and agreed time lines
·Ensure project environments continually improve
·Review client feedback
The ideal candidate will:
·Have experience of account management at a senior level
·Be able to show how they have tendered and won new business previously
·Have demonstrable national and multinational experience
·Have worked in a Learning & Development environment previously
·Be experienced in customer centric, blue chip environments
·Have superior people management skills
·Be able to demonstrate their passion for the learning and development of people
·Have previous project management experience
·Have the ability to deal with people at all levels
·Demonstrate a great knowledge of business applications and digital technology
This role can be remote based but there will be frequent travel required into London and beyond.
Salary: £80-100K plus bonus to be discussed at interview.
