Our Client based in central Cheltenham is looking for an experienced Lettings Negotiator to join their team. This role will suit someone who is looking for their next move within the property sector, but who is seriously looking for a challenge. The right candidate will be someone with drive, business acumen and initiative.  
 
Duties will include:
·Meeting with landlords and discussing market rates for the region
·Setting up viewings for rental properties with tenants
·Conducting viewing, showing tenants around properties that match their requirements
·Getting the match correct so you secure the tenant and the property onto the company's portfolio
·Advising clients about the lettings process and with assistance from your team, guiding them through
·Screening & selecting tenants to ensure reliability & responsibility, including checking their references
·Ensuring all of the lettings meet all legal requirements
·Booking in inspections
·Organise move in and outs
·Effectively liaise between landlord and tenant
 
Our Client have a new and fresh approach and are constantly challenging the traditional methods used by estate agents. Their objective is to improve the way in which the industry has operated for many years. Estate Agency has remained largely unchanged in the UK for decades and they believe both buyers and sellers, tenants & landlords deserve better.
 
The ideal candidate will need to:
·Demonstrate previous experience in lettings
·Be presentable & comfortable dealing with a variety of people at all levels
·Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
·Be able to work as part of a team.
 
Hours of work will be 9am to 5:30pm between Mondays - Saturday, one in four Saturdays which will be 9am-1pm.
 
Salary is up to £19,500 DOE with an uncapped commission that should see you yield in £25k to £30k in year 1.
