My client urgently requires a Communications, PR and Marketing Manager to join them on a part time basis. This role will start initially on a temporary basis, is currently offering approx. 16 hours per week but this could easily become a permanent post with hours increasing with time.
We are looking for someone who has the ability to raise my clients profile through effective, integrated communications across all channels.
You will be reporting directly to the CEO and will be responsible for setting the communications strategy to include media relations, print and digital communication and public engagement. You will be required to manage all content and its delivery, manage content for the website (Wordpress), create content for the newsletter, write press releases and handle all appropriate media interest.
This role is vital as you will be the "brand guardian" ensuring there is consistency across all internal and external communications.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
·Excellent writing and editing ability
·Be media trained with a proven track record in a similar / complimentary communications role
·That they are proactive, tenacious and solution-orientated
·The ability to juggle multiple projects and work to deadlines
·The ability to work collaboratively and effectively with people with wide ranging backgrounds and experience
·A highly professional manner with the ability to work effectively under pressure
·Proficiency in Microsoft Office
·A good knowledge of the printing and production process
The hours of work are flexible as is the potential to work some of these hours from home. Due to the nature of the role, there will be an element of "reactive" work required and also the requirement to travel, potentially outside of Gloucestershire. A company pool car would be provided for this purpose & overtime will be paid for any hours worked above the initial 16 hours per week.
