Our client based in Tewkesbury, a well renowned car parts company are looking for a Supply Chain Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis. This role will ensure that all back office tasks are completed & purchasing as well as making sure everything is received from the transport companies in a timely manner.

This role will include:
·Ensuring all purchase orders are confirmed with supplier within 24 hours
·Manually allocate stock to customers on a daily basis
·Run daily reports to ensure that customer and supplier order databases are in sync
·Assist Supply Chain Co-Ordinators with the preparation of supplier purchases orders
·Chase Backorder dates from suppliers and update due dates at line level on all Purchase Orders
·Review purchase orders greater than 3 months and report to Supply Chain Co-Ordinatoirs
·Prepare weekly reports of purchase orders due in the following week
·Assist with getting availability due dates fro suppliers for customer services
·Any ad-hoc tasks required for smooth running of the Purchasing Office

The ideal candidate will:
·Have previous administrative experience preferred but not essential.
·Have knowledge of Excel and other MS Office suite applications.
·Be able to work as part of a team and understand the bigger picture beyond their own job role.
·Have good verbal and written communication skills
·Have a can do attitude.

We are looking for candidates who are comfortable working in the back office rather than supply face to face. Candidates will need to be focused, have a good attention to detail & be able to get on with the work without distraction.

The hours for this role are 9:00am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday & our client will offer an annual salary ranging from £19k to £20k dependent on experience.
